CCRC offers an on-site Resource and Lending Library for early childhood professionals, parents, and the community. Our library contains DVDs on topics such as family child care, curriculum, infants and toddlers, and parenting. Anyone interested in child care issues is welcome to check out these DVDs at no charge, for two weeks at a time. DHS allows up to six hours per year of informal (DVD) training for child care providers.
A popular service in CCRC’s Library is our Cut and Create Resource Corner where the child care community can use the Ellison die cut machines, laminate materials for 50¢ per foot, and get some great ideas for books, folder games, and much, much more!
CCRC also offers a Toy Lending Library service for anyone who has a CCRC membership (just $25 a year). Members can check out our portable, child-centered Discovery Bags that contain toys, books, puzzles, and resource materials. Members also have the opportunity to “build-a-bag,” choosing from over 200 toys to create a personalized bag.
