The ABCs of Making Literacy Fun
This is the first training of the three offered during this Super Saturday training event. This training will provide tips to teaching letter recognition, making the library an inviting environment for reading, and word placement. Participants will also be provided with a make-n-take activity to enhance their classrooms literacy learning.
Enhancing Nature Play: Indoors & Out
This training is the second of three trainings presented by CCRC at our Super Saturday Training! Participants will learn the value of incorporating natural items and activities into their classrooms as well as their outdoor environment.
What To Do With All Those Emotions?
This is the third training of the Super Saturday event! This training will discuss emotions children express, social & emotional attachments, and a basic understand of the effects of trauma. Participants will receive tips for developing a healthy social and emotional inclusive classroom.
Participants must attend all three sessions and agree to up to 3 follow-up technical assistance appointments with one of our child care consultants to aid in classroom implementation. If you have attended our previous Super Saturday Training Events before, you must get permission from one of the trainers to attend again. Limit three staff from each center.
