Bus Trip to the Capitol Building in OKC
Calling All Children's Advocates, and especially parents of young children! Would you like to be an advocate? Would you like to learn to be an advocate? Join us for a trip to the Capitol to meet with our local Senators and House Representatives, and gain some valuable information on how to communicate with our elected officials on issues important to you!
On Tuesday, April 8, Child Care Resource Center will be boarding a bus for a day trip to our State Capitol. We will leave CCRC (18 North Norwood) at 8:00 a.m.
This Child Watch Tour is free. During the bus trip to the Capitol, you will receive some advocacy training and coaching on speaking to legislators. While at the Capitol, you will be speaking with your Senators and House Representatives, and we will then have lunch at the Capitol. The plan is to return to the Child Care Resource Center between 2:00 and 3:00.
