TOY LENDING AND RESOURCE LIBRARY
CCRC offers an on-site Resource Library for early childhood professionals, parents and the community. Our library contains over 500 books and videos on topics such as family child care, curriculum development, caring for infants and toddlers, and parenting. Anyone interested in child care issues is welcome to check out these books and videos at no charge, for two weeks at a time. Video training will count toward required DHS training hours. CCRC also offers a Toy Lending Library for licensed or permitted family child care providers. Our "Learning Luggage" bags are portable, theme-based curriculum kits which contain toys, books, puzzles and resource guides on over 90 themes. In addition to the Learning Luggages, we offer "Listening Luggages", floor toys for infants and toddlers, unit blocks, soft toddler blocks, big books and children's books. All are available for a two-week checkout for members. Membership in the Toy Lending Library is $25 per year. Newly expanded is our "Cut and Create Resource Corner" where the child care community can use the Ellison die cut machine, laminate materials for 50 cents per foot, and get some great ideas for posters, folder games, and much, much more.
