Subsidized Employment Program

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services has received some federal stimulus money. Its purpose is to find jobs for the unemployed by subsidizing the wages of qualified individuals. The program is also beneficial to employers because it helps with unmet staffing needs. This may allow an employer to grow their business or recover lost production. It will assist the unemployed to move back into the workforce and reduce the amount of taxpayer dollars being spent of public assistance programs.

CCRC is going GREEN
In the effort to help our environment, cut out waste and leave a world that is cleaner and better for our children, the Child Care Resource Center has been going green. We are recycling our paper and plastic grocery bags by donating them to local child care programs…we have been bringing our lunches and snacks to work (saves $$$, gas and is healthier) and we have recycling bins for plastics and cans. As we continue our efforts to stay “green” please look for a new and improved newsletter and e-newsletter. As always, if you have compliments, concerns or recommendations, please contact us.
