Child Care Resource Center/Community Service Council is a Tulsa Area United Way Partner Agency. Each fall we participate in the yearly United Way Campaign and associated events. Tulsa has the largest Day of Caring event during a weekday in the nation and CCRC is proud to be a part of this wonderful event. On September 7, CCRC coordinated 18 different projects for the 2012 Day of Caring. 10 child care centers, 5 family child care homes, 2 public school early learning programs and a project at CCRC participated. 15 different companies provided over 250 volunteers to complete projects that included painting indoors and out, improving playgrounds, reading to children, making learning games for the classroom and deep cleaning. The children of the Tulsa Metro Area thank you for your time, energy and talents.
