A new effort to promote children’s health called Let’s Move! Child Care encourages and supports healthier physical activity and nutrition practices for children in child care.  With more than 20% of children between the ages of 2-5 being overweight or obese, child care providers are encouraged to sign up at www.HealthyKidsHealthyFuture.org to join the Let’s Move! Child Care State Challenge.  The goals focus on increasing physical activity, reducing screen time, improving food and beverage choices, and supporting infant feeding.  Help Oklahoma rank at the top for state participation and sign up today.
