POSTED 7/27/11:
On 7/26/11, the Oklahoma Commission for Human Services approved the changes to the Appendix C-4 (co-payments and eligibility standards) with an effective date of 11/1/11 instead of the original date of 8/1/11. The DCOL-11-02 mailing that was sent 6/28/11 is no longer accurate. An overall system’s change will be made on all child care cases effective 8/1/11 using the Appendix C-4 dated 6/1/08. Notices to clients and providers will be issued with the decreased co-payments. The correct co-payment can also be found on the POS machine and on the provider web starting 8/1/11. The Appendix C-4 dated 6/1/08 is available online at OKDHS.org. Please call 405-521-3931 with any questions.

POSTED 6/27/11:
Due to a loss of funding for Department of Human Services, Child Care subsidies are changing effective August 1, 2011. Co-pays are going up approximately 30% and the family income eligibility is going down. In addition, families will be required to re-qualify every six months rather than annually. If families fail to re-apply before their renewal date, then they will be taken out of the system and be required to re-apply under more stringent rules which may make it more difficult for our families to access child care subsidy supports.
