Resource and Lending Library
CCRC offers an on-site Resource Library for early childhood professionals, parents and the community. Our library contains over 1,000 books and DVD’s on topics such as family child care, curriculum development, caring for infants and toddlers, and parenting. Anyone interested in child care issues is welcome to check out these books and DVD’s at no charge, for two weeks at a time. DVD training will count toward required DHS training hours. CCRC also offers a Toy Lending Library service for anyone who has a CCRC membership. Members can check out our Learning Luggage bags which are portable, theme-based curriculum kits containing toys, books, puzzles and resource guides on over 80 themes. In addition to the Learning Luggage, we offer Listening Luggage, unit blocks, and Take Home Reading Luggage. CCRC membership is $35 per year.A popular service in CCRC’s Library is our Cut and Create Resource Corner where the child care community can use the Ellison die cut machines, laminate materials for 50¢ per foot, and get some great ideas for posters, folder games, and much, much more.

Ellison Machine with die cuts as well as laminating will be available at the campus. Letters and seasonal die cuts will be available every Saturday. To view the list of die cuts, click on the link above.

Please call the library at 831-7248 by noon on Thursday to ask for a specific die cut to be available that Saturday. If you’d like to check out a specific toy or a learning luggage, then you can call to reserve it and if it is currently checked in, it will be brought that Saturday for you to check out.
