Child Care Food Program

Note:  If you are interested in the Food Program for Child Care CENTERS, please call the Department of Education, Child Nutrition Programs, at (405) 521-3327.

CCRC is a sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for child care homes which is a program of the USDA. We contract with licensed or permitted family child care providers in Tulsa, Creek, Rogers and Wagoner Counties.  Our program offers training in nutrition, record-keeping, health and sanitation, and child development.  We offer monthly orientation classes for new providers (call us for upcoming classes!), and yearly workshops for established providers.

The Food Program will reimburse family child care providers for the meals they serve children, if those meals meet the USDA requirements.  Providers must keep detailed records of the meals they serve and the children they care for, and submit those records monthly to the Food Program.  The USDA sets the reimbursement rate for each meal, which is determined by the provider’s home address or income level.
